Repeat WiFi Network with Dlink DIR-822

How to Repeat WiFi Network with Dlink DIR-822

  • First off, reset your router (the one you want to turn into a repeater).
  • Now, open your router's login page and enter.
  • You'll have to set a static IP Address for your router. Usually, you would set your repeater's address one higher than your main router address, for example, if your main router has the address 192.168.0.1 then you would set address 192.168.0.2 for your repeater.
  • Make sure your main router is connected to your repeater router by cable to the WAN port.
  • Now, locate AP Mode or Repeater Mode on your repeater router, enable it.
  • Great job! You've turned Dlink DIR-822 into an repeater!
